In east London last night, a man was discovered stabbed to death and another man with knife injuries was taken into custody.
Police arrived at Rothwell Gardens in Dagenham, where a man had been stabbed, and then quickly found another man with serious stab wounds nearby.
The London Ambulance Service called the police around 01:30hrs on Saturday, 20 April.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the 23-year-old died at the scene.
The police think they know who the dead man is and are urgently trying to contact his family.
The second man is expected to survive and has been released from the hospital to be arrested in connection with the investigation.
He is currently in police custody.
