A man from Norristown, who officials claim was driving above the speed limit during a collision involving two vehicles that resulted in the death of a woman in the other vehicle, has been charged with vehicular homicide and manslaughter.
A man from Pottstown confessed to participating in a straw purchase scheme in which he bought weapons at gun stores in Chester and Berks counties, and lied on required paperwork by claiming the guns were for him but, according to detectives, he passed them illegally to others who were not allowed by law to have guns.
