Graphic and disturbing video shows the moment one of the alleged Moscow terrorists is caught and mutilated while ‘fleeing towards the Ukrainian border.’

The video, which has not been independently confirmed, depicts the suspect held down by armed Russian soldiers who use a small knife to remove part of his ear.‌

They then put the severed ear in his mouth and try to make him swallow it.

The supposed terrorist is also hit in the face and later appears heavily bandaged.

‌It is uncertain who was responsible for the brutality, believed to have occurred in western Russia.‌

But Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a general in the Russian national guard, admitted his forces – known for their brutality – were involved in the detainment of the suspected terrorists.

Chechen forces were collaborating with FSB special forces and Russian troops from Leningrad region to pursue the shooters, he said.

The detained suspect seems to identify himself as Redzhep Alizode, and is thought to be from Tajikistan.

CCTV still show gunmen open fire at Crocus City Hall, in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, Russia.

Another video showed the moment the gunmen attacked the Crocus Hall venue and started shooting.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on Friday night in a statement posted on social media.

A US intelligence official later confirmed that the group was responsible for the attack.

However, Vladimir Putin blamed Ukraine for the ‘bloody, barbaric terrorist act’ which has seen the death toll surge to over 130.

Ukraine has staunchly denied the accusations.

Russian politicians today indicated they would reinstate the death penalty for terrorist crimes.
