    (NEXSTAR) – People across the United States were excited on Friday night as they attempted to see the Northern Lights that appeared across the country.

    People were clearly ready with their phones and cameras, hoping to capture a memorable night.

    Fortunately, many of them also shared these photos with family, friends, social media, and local news stations.
