In a December interview, Mace sharply criticized her Democratic colleagues in the House for not speaking out against the acts of sexual violence that Hamas inflicted on Israelis that day.
She expressed her dismay at the failure of women's groups and left-wing women in the House to condemn the shameful, disgusting, and barbaric acts of sexual violence committed by Hamas against Israelis. She believed it should be condemned by every woman in the country.
Mace is a vocal advocate against sexual violence, drawing from her personal experience as a rape survivor. She used her own story to express sorrow for the violence suffered by Israeli women.
