Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has shared on his social media account that he will visit France and Italy from May 15 to 21, followed by Japan from May 22 to 24.
The main goals are to attract investments to Thailand, utilize the country’s influence, and promote cooperation in various fields such as trade, industry, and energy.
The French President Emmanuel Macron is keen on organizing the Thailand-France Business Forum to facilitate collaboration between the private sectors of both countries.
In Italy, Srettha aims to strengthen relations in key areas that align with the vision outlined in the “Ignite Thailand 2025” policy.
During the Japan visit, the Thai PM will take part in the Nikkei Forum and engage in discussions with members of Japan’s private sector, particularly those in the food, logistics, and finance industries.
The prime minister concluded, “This presents a valuable opportunity to further encourage investment in Thailand.”
