    The TriCounty Area Chamber gave out awards at their yearly dinner

    The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce recently held its annual dinner at RiverCrest Golf Club and Preserve in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, with a theme of “The Games We Play in Work and Life” and around 250 guests present.

    Steve McClatchy, the author of “Decide: Work Smarter, Reduce Your Stress and Lead by Example,” was the keynote speaker at the event.

    The keynote speaker for the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner on April 24 was Steve McClatchy, from Alleer Coaching & Training.

    He discussed how relationships fit into five categories to build trust, along with the concept of the “5 Levels of Maturity” and personal growth to enhance relationships.

    McClatchy informed attendees that both parties need to consistently show maturity at a certain level to progress to the next level.

    He also shared anecdotes from his childhood and business experiences, providing guidance on developing and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships in work and life.

    Three individuals received annual awards from the chamber.

    George Yanoshik Jr. from Patient First was given the 2024 Chamber Champion Award.

    Megan La Rosa from Tompkins Community Bank received the 2024 Volunteer of the Year Award.

    Joseph Rusiewicz of the Foundation for Pottstown Education was honored with the 2024 Ambassador of the Year Award.

    The evening began with networking and a social hour, followed by awards, the keynote speaker, and dinner, concluding with a dessert buffet and prize giveaways.

    The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses in southeastern Berks, western Montgomery, and northern Chester counties, as well as the Route 422 area.
