    ROUNDUP

    BASEBALL

    Plymouth South came from being down 6-0 to beat Canton, 7-6, with Joe Rogan pitching well and Colin Ducie getting two RBI. BC High defeated Wachusett 11-1 with strong pitching from Sam Keene and good hitting from Jackson Richard, Chris Mondesir, Tommy O’Donnell, Tristan Pecevich, and Jack Darcy. Middleboro beat Weymouth 9-6 with Brayden Wright hitting five-for-five. Sandwich won 5-3 against Scituate with Matt Taylor pitching the full game and striking out eight.

    In a matchup in the Bay State Conference, Luke Joyce pitched a complete game shutout with eight strikeouts to lead Braintree to a 4-0 win over Norwood.

    Malden (4-2) beat Greater Lawrence 4-1 with freshman Ryan Bowdridge pitching a complete-game three-hitter with nine strikeouts in the first round of the 10th annual Christie Serino Memorial Baseball Tournament.

    Plymouth North (3-2) won 10-0 over Dartmouth in the championship of the 16th annual Brad Martin Tournament, with Josh Bryant pitching a three-hit complete game shutout in a five inning game.

    In the Merrimack Valley Conference, North Andover defeated Chelmsford 9-1 with Josean Rios hitting a big double in the fifth inning to break the game open.

    BOYS LACROSSE

    St. John’s Prep won 15-10 against Andover with Jake Vana leading the offense with three goals and three assists. Barnstbale won 10-7 over Silver Lake, with Ryan Woeller scoring four goals and Ryan O’Donnell adding a hat trick with two assists.

    In the Northeastern Conference, Masconomet topped Salem 14-2 with Colin Driscoll and seven other players scoring.

    In a non league contest, Abington beat Whitman Hanson 13-10 with Jonathan Halpin and Hunter Grafton each scoring four goals and one assist.

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    In a non league Patriots Cup game, Sandwich beat Pembroke 15-2 with Avery Cobban scoring five goals and eight other players scoring.

    Arlington Catholic won 10-8 over Malden in a non league matchup, with Jane Goodwin scoring four goals and Elizabeth Mozuch making nine saves in net.

    In the Commonwealth Conference, Greater Lowell beat Northeast Tech 11-6, with Kristine Nocco scoring four goals.

    Central Catholic won 16-4 against Leominster in a non league game, with Kerri Finneran scoring five goals.

    In the Mayflower Conference, South Shore Tech won 16-3 against Bristol Aggie, with Peyton Mathison and Sofia Grasso each scoring a hat trick.

    SOFTBALL

    In a non league game, Abington defeated Whitman-Hanson 16-2 with Elsie Testa striking out 12 and allowing only two earned runs.

    Methuen blocked Billerica 11-0 in the Merrimack Valley League, with Mackenzie Yirrell pitching a complete game shutout and striking out nine.

    Marblehead won 11-1 against Boston Latin Academy in a non conference game, with Tessa Francis pitching a no hitter and striking out 11, and Hailey Schmitt and Ruby Calienes contributing offensively.

    VOLLEYBALL

    Marco Gomez Cabo contributed 26 assists, nine kills, and four aces to help Andover defeat Boston Latin, 3-1, in a non league match.
