    ROUNDUP

    BASEBALL

    Whitman-Hanson beat Duxbury 7-2, with Ryan Baker pitching and striking out eight batters, and Cam Beltramini hitting a three-run homer while going 3-for-4.

    In the Catholic Conference, Xaverian (2-1) won 6-4 against Catholic Memorial, with senior co-captain Charlie Comella getting a two-run homer, triple, and four RBI. BC High (2-0) also won 12-1 against Malden Catholic, with Liam Kinneen, Brady Lane, and Jake Taylor combining for a no-hitter and 11 strikeouts.

    Silver Lake won 6-5 against Dalmouth in nonleague play, with junior Cam Carroll making the game-winning play.

    Melrose defeated Winchester 5-1, with Ben Cassavoy pitching the whole game, allowing three hits and striking out 13 batters.

    BOYS LACROSSE

    Bishop Feehan won 20-2 against Bishop Fenwick in the Catholic Central League, with Cooper Masso scoring four goals and Blake Masso and Dexter Izzo each scoring a hat trick.

    Franklin won 12-5 against Canton in the Hockomock League, with Eddie O’Brien scoring three goals and providing three assists, and Drew Hansen scoring two goals and providing three assists.

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Dover-Sherborn defeated Medway 13-7 in the Tri-Valley League, with Avery O’Connell scoring six goals and Kelly Devine scoring four goals.

    Coco Clopton scored four goals and provided two assists as Swampscott won 16-1 against Winthrop in a Northeastern Conference game, reaching the 200 career point mark.

    Apponequet won 11-8 against Dartmouth in nonleague action, with Cece Levrault scoring six goals and Abby Bradley scoring a hat trick.

    SOFTBALL

    Whitman-Hanson won 4-3 against Duxbury in the Patriot League, with Cassidy Briggs getting four hits and Kaitlyn Howard striking out 10 batters.

    Archbishop Williams won 3-0 against St. Mary of Lynn in the Catholic Central League, with Jill Ondrick striking out 16 batters and hitting a two-run homer.

    Dighton-Rehoboth won 10-1 against Middleboro in a nonleague game, with Edy Latour pitching the whole game, giving up one run, and striking out seven, while also going 3-for-4 with a home run.

    Natick won 3-0 against Brookline in Bay State Conference action, with Branch Barnes scoring 15 kills and Nic Bonavaire adding 14 kills.
