Scared tourists had to jump into the water after their boat caught on fire in the middle of the sea in Thailand.

Visitors jumped into the sea near the island of Koh Tao in Thailand, which is also called 'Death Island'.

A shocking video recorded the moment vacationers escaped the fire this morning.

Travelers were packed onto The Ko Jaroen 2 ferry after a fire broke out in its engine room just a few meters away at about 6.30am local time.
