Netflix show in the works, and suddenly three different sources are discussing a new game reveal coming this summer. During the latest episode of Kinda Funny Xcast, host Parris Lilly mentioned a theory that Gears Of War 6 would be teased this year, before multiple other insiders confirmed that it was actually true.
After watching the Marvel 1943 trailer, she said she tweeted wondering what Gears 6 would look like in Unreal 5, and got a message from a Gears developer.
'Someone from The Coalition made a mysterious subtweet in response to me about that, which caught my attention.'
'So my theory is that you do tease it this year, and then it might be a launch game for the next generation. That makes sense to me,' said Lilly.
The guest on the show, insider Jeff Grubb,
agreed with her , and added:'I've heard that something might be happening with Gears 6 this summer, so I think that tease seems accurate to me, Parris. That seems like what we can expect,
The Verge’s Tom Warren then supported the claim, quoting Grubb in a tweet, and adding the word 'correct'.
