Mikel Arteta insists Bukayo Saka will decide on his potential involvement in the game against Luton after Tuesday’s training session.
The Arsenal The player has been having a good season but has been dealing with an injury for a few weeks.
Saka was called up to the England squad last month, but was unable to play and did not take part in the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
He was able to start in Sunday’s game against Manchester City but did not look his best and was substituted with 12 minutes remaining.
Arteta explained the decision to substitute Saka against the champions, saying on Sunday: ‘Nothing serious. As you know, he has been out for a few weeks now with a little problem.
‘He was feeling tired. He only trained one day before the match. He made a big contribution but it was a lot, 90 minutes for him today.’
Asked for an update on Saka’s condition before tomorrow night’s game against the relegation threatened Hatters, Arteta said: ‘He is fine.
‘We have not trained, just recovered. We will have a short, light session today. We will see whether he is in the best condition to start or not.’
