Officials from Thung Song Hong police station in Bangkok have summoned Deputy National Police Chief Police General Surachate Hakparn to acknowledge money laundering charges related to the BNKMaster online gambling website, which is currently shut down and being investigated..
The summons will be handed to Surachate at his residence in Vibhavadi Rangsit Soi 60 by the inquiry officers, as per reliable police sources.
The sources mentioned that a duplicate of the summons and a letter outlining the case against Surachate will also be sent to National Police Chief Police General Torsak Sukvimol, in compliance with regulations concerning charges laid against high-ranking police officers.
On March 12th, the Ratchadapisek Criminal Court issued warrants for the arrests of three other police officers and a civilian, also on money laundering charges related to the same investigation. The four suspects are Police Colonel Kittichai, Police Sergeant Natthawut, Police Sergeant Natthanan, and “Napansakorn”.
