Celebrity Big Brother star Ekin-Su Culculoglu has come under fire from Strictly Come Dancing’s Layton Williams.
The Love Island winner, 27, has already sparked backlash after comments she made on the reality programme, which has also seen former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
In conversations with her new friends, Ekin-Su claimed she didn’t like OnlyFans and doesn’t post any bikini pictures, which fans were quick to expose her on.
She’s also snapped at mentions of Love Island and been strangely hostile to her co-stars.
It’s safe to say, fans aren’t too keen on the reality star in the Big Brother house, despite initially being a front-runner to win.
But now, fellow housemate Nikita Kuzmin’s former dance partner Layton has weighed in.
During a conversation with Louis on Wednesday’s episode, Ekin-Su called Nikita a ‘nice guy’ and a ‘genuine friend’.
But when she was asked if she fancied him, she replied: ‘I’m respectful, he’s in a relationship.’
‘I will only fancy someone if they show me genuine… if they’re nice, I don’t go for looks anymore,’ she added.
‘I’ve had one ugly boyfriend,’ she went on, revealing she’s had five boyfriends in the past, but playing coy over who she loved the most.
Just hours later, Ekin-Su followed Nikita into the bedroom after Sharon’s exit, after The Osbourne’s star said Nikita had the biggest impact on her in the house in emotional scenes.
Ekin-Su told Nikita, who was stripping off and changing at the time: ‘What Sharon said about you is spot on. I think she did the right thing. You’re a good friend and a good person and someone I can trust.
‘You have the energy that I can trust you when I say something to you.
‘You’re not like those guys that have an attention, you don’t have that about you and that’s really rare.’
‘Thank you Ekin-Su, that’s really sweet of you, everybody is really lovely to me,’ the pro dancer replied, with Ekin-Su adding: ‘It’s because you deserve it.’
The chat didn’t go down well with Layton, who blasted Ekin-Su during an appearance on Late and Live.
He said: ‘That was really awkward to see honestly because I was giving her like fair play girl when she said “oh no he has a girlfriend”.
‘Which by the way just because somebody has a partner it doesn’t mean they would be interested in you anyway so I don’t really like that angle, no shade, full shade.
‘But then to go into the bedroom whilst he is changing, girl give the boy some privacy and to be giving compliments, I’m just like read the room.
‘Nikita just went thank you so much, and left. Yes that’s my Nikita.’
Nikita, 26, who reached the final of Strictly with Layton before losing to Vito Coppola Vito Coppola and Ellie Leach, made his relationship with girlfriend Lauren Jaine public last year.
Confirmation that they were a couple came after months of guesses after they were seen together at different events, including Lauren attending the Strictly live shows.
But they casually decided to make their romance public in a sweet photo post on Instagram.
And at the time, it was obvious that Lauren had the approval of Nikita’s friends, as a source told The Sun: ‘Nikita and Lauren have been dating for months and seem to have an amazing connection.
‘The pair have tried to keep their romance under the radar but they have been attending events together and are really enjoying each other’s company.
‘They have been spending a lot of time together and even went on holiday together in the summer.
‘Things are progressing and Nikita is very happy with his new romance.’
Since then, they have been showing affection in public for their online followers and have become familiar with sentimental posts.
