Rock Lititz announces plans for Rock Nashville

Rock Lititz has revealed its intentions to create a second location for rehearsals and production for live events in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a partnership between the Lancaster County-based company and Al. Neyer, a prominent commercial real estate developer and design-builder.

The upcoming Rock Nashville campus will be similar in size and rehearsal amenities to Rock Lititz, offering spaces for businesses supporting the live event industry. It will include two rehearsal studios for arena/amphitheater tours and 13 other spaces for more intimate performance venues.

The plans for Rock Nashville do not involve a hotel, public-access restaurant, or live event industry-focused education facility, all of which are present at the Rock Lititz campus in Warwick Township.

The project in Nashville will not impact the operations at Rock Lititz, according to the company's announcement.

Rock Lititz President and CEO Andrea Shirk stated, "We are still dedicated to the Lititz community and central Pennsylvania. Our rehearsals, operations, and growth plans in Lititz remain unchanged, and we are looking forward to expanding our rehearsal studio options at the Rock Lititz campus with the completion of the Academy of Live Technology in May."

In February, the joint venture acquired property in Whites Creek, which is situated less than 10 miles from downtown Nashville. Construction began in mid-April and is projected to finish in 2025.

The plans involve developing 40 acres of the 55-acre Tennessee property into 514,000 square feet of rehearsal facilities, as well as creative offices and production facilities of various sizes.

Andrea Shirk mentioned, "As we approach 10 years since Rock Lititz opened, we've been eager to find the next space and partner to expand our support for the live entertainment industry. This community benefits from specialized training, mentoring, and resources to create customized live experiences for global audiences, and we believe Nashville and Al. Neyer are the right fit."

Notable tenants of the new facility will include Lititz-headquartered Clair Global, a leading provider of audio products, live production services, and systems integration, as well as Soundcheck, a business offering rehearsal, backline, and tour support.

Kindal Jumper, Soundcheck general manager, expressed enthusiasm about the move, saying, "Having been part of the Nashville entertainment community for over 30 years, we are thrilled to make Rock Nashville our new home. As Music City continues to grow as a top destination for all music genres, the state-of-the-art facilities on the campus will enable Soundcheck to meet the evolving needs of today’s acts, ensuring the highest quality production experience for artists from Broadway to Bridgestone."

Rock Lititz has also purchased 38.4 acres of land at the High Sports complex in Warwick Township for an undisclosed price. Owner Samuel High, 90, will retain a 1-acre parcel with a car wash and spring water vending system, which will remain open to the public.

Rock Lititz stated that it currently has no immediate plans for how to use the property.

Rock Lititz was established in 2000 by Troy Clair, who owns Clair Global, and Adam Davis, who is the CEO of the TAIT Group. The company explained that the Rock Lititz campus was opened in 2014 to provide a specially designed area for the live entertainment industry. It is the base for over 40 businesses and has a workforce of almost 2,000 people.
