How would you feel if your partner shared a photo of you on the toilet with over eight million people?
Well, that’s what Travis Barker did to his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, and people aren’t happy.
To celebrate her 45th birthday, the Blink-182 musician went into the archives to show a different side to the perfectly polished Kardashian we know.
While his social media post included some cute vacation pictures and photos with their baby son, the last one was a real, erm, treat?
Sharing on Instagram, Travis – who had a son Rocky with Kourtney last year – wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, soulmate and best friend forever. I love you, I love our life together.’
‘Thank you for being the most amazing wife a person could ask for,’ he added. ‘Here’s to many more years of adventures together ❤️🔥’
Certainly a romantic caption, but the final image in his slideshow raised eyebrows, with people calling Travis ‘weird’ for photographing his other half doing her business.
In glamorous attire of a black dress and heels, with her hair slicked back and make-up applied to perfection, Kourtney squatted on the toilet while staring directly into the camera.
Many fans were left in stitches after seeing the post, branding it the sign of a ‘true relationship’ that they feel so comfortable around one another.
Not everyone was amused, however.
Taking to X, dairslvr wrote: ‘ok but why would he even take a pic let alone post it on the internet let her do her business in peace weirdo’.
‘somethings are meant to just stay in the camera roll’, wrote okokalrightZain.
User JAYDANOTPINKETT penned: ‘Idk y’all if my man posted a pic of me like this I’m gonna genuinely thinks he really hates me’.
‘Why did he take a photo of her digging in her a** and then put it on the Internet?’, blasted RachTheBadBroad.
Many others asked ‘why we need to see’ this, while some even questioned whether Travis ‘hates’ Kourtney for exposing her in such a way.
Thankfully Kourtney didn’t seem too angry, as she reposted Travis’s carousel onto her Instagram Story – not the toilet snap, though.
To celebrate her 45th herself, the Poosh founder shared a slew of pics from a bday boat trip and a whole load of cake.
Kourtney married Travis in 2022, getting married in Dolce & Gabbana in Portofino, Italy.
The Lemme founder is a mother to daughter Penelope, 11, and sons Mason Dash, 14, and Reign Aston, nine, whom she shares with ex-partner Scott Disick.
Kourtney is also a stepmother to Travis’s daughter Alabama Luella, 18, son Landon Asher, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, who he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
In 2022 on an episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney talked about the couple’s wish to have more children.
‘The more kids, the better. It’s more people to love. I am really close with Travis’s kids and I love them and it’s a wonderful thing,’ she said during a confessional in May.
‘Travis is an amazing father. It’s one of the reasons that I fell in love with him. He is very, very patient.
‘I think because we’ve all known each other, it does make it easier to blend our families. It’s all I could ever want.’
