The Red Sox, who are already missing several key players, will have an even shorter roster on Thursday as Rafael Devers and Masataka Yoshida will not be on the field for the final game against Cleveland.

Devers has been dealing with multiple injuries recently, including a sore shoulder and a scary collision with Tyler O’Neill on Monday. Yoshida also sat out Wednesday’s game, which was attributed to Devers serving as the designated hitter.

With O’Neill still recovering from his injury and Trevor Story out for the season due to shoulder surgery, the Red Sox lineup is missing many of its top players. Jarren Duran will play left field and lead the batting order, while Triston Casas will play first and bat second. Wilyer Abreu, a rookie outfielder, is in the third spot, and Enmanuel Valdez is in cleanup.

Brennan Bernardino, a left-handed pitcher, will start the game with Cooper Criswell likely to follow from the bullpen. Carlos Carrasco (0-1, 3.55 ERA) will start for the Guardians.

    Triston Casas 1B

    Wilyer Abreu RF

    Enmanuel Valdez 2B

    David Hamilton SS

    Pablo Reyes 3B
