A soccer game was stopped because someone in the stadium had a medical crisis during the match.
The person in distress is believed to be a spectator who became unwell in the visiting team's seating area while Weymouth was playing against Yeovil Town at home on Monday afternoon.
An air ambulance landed on the field at the Bob Lucas Stadium during the 77th minute in front of numerous shocked onlookers.
Medical staff assisted the supporter, who was then placed into the helicopter and flown away within a few minutes.
Sheridan Robins, a commentator for BBC Radio 5 Live covering the National League South match, described the subdued mood, saying the game 'became unimportant'.
Initially, the match's announcer stated that play would resume after the supporter received treatment, but the decision to cancel the match was soon made.
Supporters clapped as the teams and coaches left the field.
Weymouth, who are trailing Yeovil in the league, were aiming to defeat their rivals for the first time since 1988 and were ahead 1-0 when the match was halted.
Yeovil remains seven points ahead at the top of the league and only needs six more points to secure the title.
It was not immediately clear if a rematch could take place.
