Winds reaching up to 70mph could hit some parts of the south coast of England tomorrow, the Met Office has cautioned, and a yellow warning has been issued for that area.
Cities like Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Brighton are covered by the warning, which will be in place from 7am on Thursday to 6pm.
The weather This could cause some travel disruption for people going south before the Easter weekend.
Based on the summary from the Met Office, 'strong winds and large coastal waves can create dangerous conditions'.
There's a small chance of injuries and a risk to life from big waves and objects from the beach being thrown towards people on the seafront.
The weather forecasters mentioned that the area under the warning – stretching from the Scilly Isles in the west to Eastbourne in the east – will be broadly hit by gusts of 50mph.
In some coastal areas, wind speeds could reach between 60 and 70mph.
There's also a separate yellow warning for rain currently in place on much of the east coast of Northern Ireland, due to concerns about 'impacts to travel and infrastructure'.
This warning will stay in effect until 1pm.
