During his big Capital Breakfast celebration, Roman Kemp had his co-star Sian Welby in tears while talking about leaving the station.

Roman’s final show after 10 years at the station will be on tomorrow morning (March 28) but the radio DJ got a surprise as he went to work blindfolded.

The lifelong Arsenal fan had a day at the Emirates Stadium in London with the changing room changed into a sound stage for his second-to-last broadcast.

As they started to finish Roman’s ‘dream come true’ penultimate show, the emotion of the moment became too much for Sian, 37.

‘[Tomorrow] it’s my final show after being on Capital for 10 years, it’s my last one,’ the 31-year-old presenter began.

‘If I’m entirely honest, I want it to be as normal as possible,’ he said as Chris Stark agreed before Roman suddenly said: ‘Sian are you crying?’

The This Morning host, who is pregnant, burst into a strained laugh through her tears as a concerned Roman added: ‘Oh no, oh no!’

‘Yeah I am,’ she confessed. ‘I just suddenly realized tomorrow is your last show, I actually am crying. It’s just been such a crazy – today has been such a fun day.’

Trying to lift her mood, the Brits host asked: ‘Is it because you scored a penalty?’

Earlier in the show, Sian had beaten her co-stars in a game so was allowed to take a penalty kick – which she scored, making her the first pregnant woman to do so on that pitch.

‘That was also very emotional,’ she admitted before getting a little emotional again as she reminisced about the day and all the kind words Roman had received since announcing his exit.

She continued: ‘To know tomorrow is your last one and we’ve all been building up to this for so long and it just got me there when you said it.’

Roman revealed he would be leaving Capital in February, receiving a flood of support from fans and famous faces alike.

Radio 1’s Jordan North was named as his successor but it’s unknown what plans the One Show presenter has for his own career future.

After Sian’s kind words, the son of Martin Kemp wrapped up his send-off and said: ‘What I wanted was a normal show with as many of you as possible coming on air and talking to us and a chance for me to say goodbye to you.’

‘Until then let’s have one final dance inside the dressing room of Arsenal football club.’

Roman’s final Capital Breakfast show starts at 6am tomorrow (March 28).
