    A man allegedly took a human leg from near a train crash and ate it like a drumstick

    Shocked construction workers at a train station witnessed a man consuming a human leg.

    Staff at the Amtrak station in Wasco, California, were laying concrete when they witnessed the disturbing scene.

    The detached leg is believed to have belonged to a person involved in a train accident near the railway station earlier that morning. US A distressing video depicts the man, thought to be, waving the detached limb and appearing to take bites out of it.

    Jose Ibarra witnessed the horrific incident (Picture: News 11 Yuma) ‘On the leg, the skin was hanging. You could see the bone.’Authorities from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as 27-year-old Resendo Tellez.

    Tellez was taken into custody for taking evidence from the scene and had multiple outstanding warrants.

    The force has not yet confirmed the identity of the leg's owner or the individual injured in the train crash, although reports indicate one fatality.

    ‘On the leg, the skin was hanging. You could see the bone.’

    Officers from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as 27-year-old Resendo Tellez.

    Tellez was arrested for taking evidence from the scene. He also had multiple outstanding warrants, and an investigation is ongoing.

    The force hasn’t yet confirmed who the leg belongs to, or who was hurt in the train crash, but it’s been reported that one person was killed.
