    Michael Cohen, who used to be Donald Trump's personal lawyer, mentioned on Tuesday that Peter Navarro, a former adviser to Trump, is unaware of the challenges ahead for him.

    Navarro, aged 74, was found guilty last year of two counts of contempt of Congress. One for not producing documents related to the investigation, and the other for skipping his deposition before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection.

    The district judge prevented him from using executive privilege as part of his defense. During the press conference held in the parking lot, Navarro argued that the justice system had dealt a “crippling blow” to the constitutional separation of powers and executive privilege.

    Navarro criticized President Biden and the Democrats for not letting him out while awaiting his appeal, which means he will have completed his four-month sentence before the court reviews his appeal.

    “But that is the price of living in Joe Biden’s America right now,” he said. “God bless you all. I’ll see you on the other side.”
