President Biden’s campaign made fun of former President Trump for playing golf on his day off from court on Wednesday.

“We found out where Trump was. He was playing golf. Not campaigning. Playing golf,” said Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for the Biden campaign. He was referring to a report that Trump was at his golf club Bedminster in New Jersey. CNN report that he was at his New Jersey golf club Bedminster.

“But, when your entire campaign is about enacting revenge and retribution for yourself and doing nothing to make Americans’ lives better, it makes sense you wouldn’t feel the need to actually speak to voters,” added Moussa.

The Biden campaign released a statement on Wednesday night, before the reports of Trump playing golf, with the subject line “Statement on Trump’s Campaign Events Today” and it read, “he had none.”

Trump has often complained that the trial — among many legal battles facing the former president — is designed to keep him off the campaign trail.

Trump will be back in court on Thursday for his New York hush money trial, which doesn’t happen on Wednesdays. The former president is facing charges of falsifying business records in connection to payments made to his former fixer, Michael Cohen, for a payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016 to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump a decade earlier.

Democrats are optimistic that Biden’s ability to hit the campaign trail while Trump is stuck in a New York courtroom will give his reelection a boost. This week, Biden campaigned in Florida and New York, and he campaigned in Pennsylvania last week. hopeful that Biden’s freedom to hit the campaign trail while Trump is stuck in a courtroom in New York gives his reelection a jolt. This week, Biden traveled to Florida and New York and he traveled to Pennsylvania last week to campaign.
