Protesters calling for a cease-fire interrupted President Biden's $26 million fundraiser with Obama and Clinton

Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted a multi-million dollar fundraiser for President Biden as he was talking with Presidents Obama and Clinton on Thursday

Comedian Stephen Colbert was hosting the discussion at Radio City Music Hall in New York City when protesters started shouting from the audience.

“Colbert, mocking former President Trump's recent merchandise sales, asked if any of them had plans to sell golden sneakers or $60 bibles.

    Biden responded, 'No golden sneakers.'

Colbert then asked Obama and Clinton what they miss about being president, and when Clinton began talking, protesters in the crowd started whistling and yelling obscenities. They were shouting about Russia, Ukraine, and a cease-fire in Gaza.

The first protester yelled, 'You're out of your f*** minds,' and was escorted out of the room.

“Colbert acknowledged the protesters and mentioned that there were related protests outside the venue.

Protesters from the 'Abandon Biden' movement, a pro-Palestinian group, gathered outside Radio City Music Hall earlier in the day for a rally and march.

Colbert asked Biden about the United States' role in the crisis in Israel and Gaza. More protesters interrupted with yells of 'blood on your hands.'

Biden replied, 'That's alright. Let them go. There's a lot of people who are very, very upset due to the innocent victims in Israel and Gaza. We need to provide more food, medicine, and supplies to the Palestinians.'

“Biden mentioned the anger in Israel and the need to stop the significant deaths of innocent civilians, especially children. He was interrupted by more yells from protesters.

Biden talked about the need for a post-Gaza plan and a path to a two-state solution, but was interrupted by more yells from protesters.

A different group in the crowd started chanting 'four more years.'

The event in New York City raised more than $26 million and brought in a sold-out crowd of over 5,000 people, according to the Biden campaign.

Obama discussed the situation in Gaza and Israel, expressing support for the people of Israel and their right to live and raise families. He mentioned that Joe's position has been the same.

He was faced with demonstrators as well. Obama replied, “no, no listen. You can’t just converse and not listen… That’s what the other side does.”

Clinton, who helped negotiate the Oslo Accords in which Palestinians and Israelis agreed to acknowledge each other, supported Biden’s approach in managing the Israel-Hamas conflict.

“I think that this is one of the most significant reasons to elect President Biden. And I will explain to you why. Because he truly cares about safeguarding the existence of Israel, which Hamas doesn’t. And he genuinely cares about providing the Palestinians with a viable self-governing state and the assistance they need for self-determination,” Clinton said.

Demonstrators carried on as Colbert then questioned the president about his State of the Union address and the disturbances at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Biden has been faced with demonstrators across the country since the conflict in Gaza began, with some disrupting his speeches to express their displeasure about his pro-Israel stance.\

On Tuesday in North Carolina, protesters began shouting during a speech in Raleigh, N.C., asking the president “what about the health care in Gaza?” Biden responded to them, “everybody deserves health care.”

He has encountered protesters in venues or on the streets during almost every trip he has taken since his response to the conflict and Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attack that killed over 1,100 Israelis and subsequently tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza.

Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted a multi-million dollar, star-studded fundraiser Thursday for President Biden while he was holding a discussion with Presidents Obama and Clinton Comedian Stephen Colbert was moderating the discussion at Radio City Music Hall in New York City when protesters began yelling from the crowd. “I want to point out that we are 10…
