Shocking photos show the aftermath of a crash that wrecked a quarter-of-a-million-pound Ferrari. Release date ? March 17, 2024. The black supercar was one of two cars involved in the crash in Islington, north London, which saw one of its wheels detached and flung to the opposite side of the road. Photos shared by onlookers show the crumpled car, a Ferrari 296 GTB, with its boot open and missing a wheel, with twisted metal strewn across the road. The vehicle can reach speeds of 62 miles per hours in 2.9 seconds. The crash, which occurred at around 1pm, caused the road to be shut for some time, with buses and cars unable to move. An air ambulance attended the scene and one man was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Shocking photos display the results of a car accident that completely wrecked a very expensive Ferrari.

The black 296 GTB collided with a white Mercedes in Islington, north London, on Friday afternoon.

One of the Ferrari’s wheels ended up on the other side of the road, with its body completely crushed and windows broken by the force of the collision.

The street was obstructed for a while, with both buses and cars unable to pass through.

The luxury car, which sells for £250,000, can accelerate to 62 miles per hour in an astounding 2.9 seconds – though it’s unclear how fast either car was going at the time of the crash.

An air ambulance arrived at the scene, and one man – believed to be the Mercedes driver – was transported to the hospital.
