Katie Price did not hesitate as she attacked her exes right in front of her new partner JJ Slater.
The 45-year-old former model – who has been married to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler in the past – let loose on her former partners without mentioning any names as she was asked to give some advice to her younger self.
‘I wouldn’t have been with all the men I’d been with,’ she told the Beat102103 team in a new Instagram video as her 31-year-old boyfriend uncomfortably looked on.
‘Men have ruined my life, but I’ve met a good one now,’ she added, glancing at the Married At First Sight star.
Asked if she thinks failed relationships ‘make us’, Katie – who revealed she has been ‘too drained’ to attend court hearings things week – fired back: ‘No! They destroyed me. But I’ve got good kids out of it.’
Katie has Princess and Junior with Peter, Bunny and Jett with Kieran, and eldest son Harvey, who doesn’t have contact with his dad Dwight York.
She continued: ‘I just think I jumped into relationships insecure but now I know what I really want. So I wasn’t even looking for anyone and he’s come along so it’s actually perfect.’
Katie confirmed her romance with the fashion brand owner last month, and she has admitted she actually spotted him on Married At First Sight.
‘I remember watching it going “God if he likes them type of women he’d like me” and I fancied him in that,’ she told the It’s Not You, It’s Them… But It Might Be You podcast with LalalaLetMeExplain.
She told the anonymous relationship guru how she decided to slide into JJ’s DMs after finding out he had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, while admitting she has a keen interest in medical issues due to her own struggles, and those of her son Harvey.
‘It’s only till I read that [JJ] had diabetes that I got in contact. And I didn’t realise that he had messaged me two years ago and I never saw it. So that was so random,’ she said.
‘That’s how that started. So we’ve been talking for a while. Obviously I was single when I started talking to him.
‘To be honest, I didn’t want a relationship, but cause I watched the show and anyone who’s got something like medical, I think because of Harvey, I’m interested in all of that.
‘When they say “life changing” and all of that, obviously I’ve had life changing injuries with my feet.’
She insisted their early interactions were ‘innocent’, but then thinks ‘evolved’.
‘Then we got to know each other before anyone thinks they could tarnish it. Slow and grow in its own pace,’ she recalled.
‘And I think being open and explaining what I’ve been through in the past, why I didn’t want a relationship, he understands it. But d’you know, so far, so good.’
