Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s family have requested Celebrity Big Brother fans to cease harassing her on the internet.
The former Love Island winner has come under heavy criticism from viewers and fellow stars during her time in the house, most recently after her reaction to Marisha Wallace’s face-to-face nomination.
In a social media statement, her team wrote: ‘Last night was a really sad episode to watch. Ekin-Su has always cared and worn her heart on her sleeve and last night we saw that.
‘What made last night a thousand times harder though is seeing and listening to hateful comments, trolling, name calling and physical abuse threats. Nobody deserves this behaviour and to read some of what we did last night.
‘@bbuk is a reality entertainment show that is edited to entertain us as viewers. We see an hour of 24 hours each day and the show is a social experiment that has been known to heighten emotions.
‘We would like to thank those of you that have supported Ekin-Su. The love and kind words haven’t gone unnoticed!

The 29-year-old reality star left viewers unimpressed with her reaction to Marisha’s nomination, with the Broadway star explaining: ‘Only because I know if I get to the final, I can’t beat you.’
She believed Ekin-Su’s ‘huge following’ would vote for her and mentioned the reality star had ‘played these games before’.
The former Love Island star has tried to distance herself from her background on the dating show, and she insisted fired back: ‘I knew this was going to happen. Just judging me because I went on a f**king show before.’
Ekin-Su also insisted she and Marisha were close as she fought back tears in the bedroom and bathroom, but fans pointed out that she nominated her ‘friend’ Louis Walsh in the same nomination segment.
‘The downfall of Ekin Su is actually gorgeous to watch,’ viewer Rhys posted on X as Amy added: ‘Ekin-Su is fake to the core and a hypocrite at that, too.’

While former X Factor judge Louis is far from anyone’s favourite, viewers were shocked when she said: ‘The first nomination is going to be Louis, I just feel like Louis is a bit lazy and I prefer someone who is a team player.
‘I would like him to be more practical with the housework in the home, that’s why I want to nominate Louis.’
Zeze Millz was all of us as she frowned and raised her eyebrow at Ekin-Su’s reasoning, which seemed to be a stark change from her cosiness with Louis in the morning.

During a chat with another person living in the same house Fern Britton, she stated that her page didn't have any bikini photos — but with 3.6million followers, people quickly pointed out that this wasn't true. Instagram She also faced criticism for her behavior towards housemate Nikita Kuzmin, whom she said was a ‘nice guy’ and a ‘genuine friend’, before being asked if she liked him and responding: ‘I’m respectful, he’s in a relationship.’
She then went into the bedroom while he was changing and complimented him after some kind words directed his way by Sharon Osbourne, which his former dance partner Layton Williams described as ‘really awkward’ considering Nikita’s relationship with girlfriend Lauren Jaine.
