Zach LaVine may go to the Pistons, Alex Caruso to the Bucks, and Andre Drummond to the Lakers. These are the most recent trade rumors surrounding the Chicago Bulls

The NBA trade deadline is only two weeks away.

The Chicago Bulls are feeling the pressure as the NBA trade deadline approaches on February 8th, with the front office's past inactivity putting more emphasis on making a positive change.

DeMar DeRozan and other players try not to let the front-office decisions affect their daily lives.

DeRozan is focused on playing great basketball despite the trade rumors and is pleased with how the team is performing.

In the past two years, the Bulls have not made many significant changes, and now there's a decrease in interest in Zach LaVine from other teams. League-wide interest in Zach LaVine is decreasing. The team seems to be heading towards another period of inactivity as interest in Zach LaVine wanes.

DeRozan believes in the team's ability to compete with the current roster.

DeRozan is confident in the team's ability to compete with anyone if they can stay healthy.

Artūras Karnišovas, the Bulls' executive vice president of basketball operations, emphasizes the need for change if the team wants to succeed in the future.

As the trade deadline approaches, here are some reports to keep an eye on.

The Bulls might be asking for too much from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Zach LaVine.

According to James Edwards III of The Athletic, preliminary talks between the Pistons and Bulls have taken place regarding a trade for LaVine. The Bulls are reportedly looking to receive Bojan Bogdanović and another top player from the Pistons in exchange for LaVine. James Edwards III of The Athletic reported a conversation between the Pistons and Bulls about Zach LaVine. The Bulls want Bojan Bogdanović and another top player but the Pistons are not interested in giving up certain key players.

The Pistons are not interested in trading Cade Cunningham, Ausar Thompson, Jaden Ivey, or Jalen Duran — the players the Bulls are most interested in acquiring in a trade for Bogdanović. There might be a possibility if the asking price goes down.

The Bulls have emphasized the need for a valuable return in any trade. Their approach will indicate how eager they are to trade LaVine.

The Milwaukee Bucks see the possibility of acquiring Alex Caruso as highly desirable.

Caruso's defensive skills and improved 3-point shooting make him an attractive option for teams aiming for a strong playoff performance. Alex Caruso is known for his defensive ability, which would benefit any team looking to make a deep playoff run. Teams are eager to acquire Alex Caruso due to his defensive prowess and improved 3-point shooting.

The Milwaukee Bucks are interested in adding Caruso to their team and see it as a coveted outcome. According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Bucks are eager to land Caruso and have been aggressive in their pursuit this week.dismissed first-time head coach Adrian Griffin in spite of a 30-13 record. However, acquiring Caruso from the Bulls would be very expensive. According to Fischer’s report, the Bulls would need multiple first-round draft picks before they even think about trading Caruso. The front office has been clear about their reluctance to even consider trading Caruso.

This makes the trade unlikely. However, if the Bucks are desperate—particularly considering their significant defensive decline this season— they may attempt to trade Caruso to Milwaukee.

Los Angeles Lakers aim to strengthen frontcourt with Andre Drummond

The most consistent connection between the Bulls and Lakers this season has been unsuccessful discussions about transferring LaVine to the West Coast so far. According to a report by Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the Lakers could be interested in pursuing a different Bull: backup center Andre Drummond.

As per McMenamin’s report, the Lakers are keen on adding Drummond (as well as other backup centers across the league) in preparation for a potential postseason face-off with the Denver Nuggets and big man Nikola Jokić.

averages 7.6 points and 8.4 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per game

Drummond this season. It is not clear what the Lakers would be willing to give up in return for Drummond. However, if the Bulls were to trade the big man, they would need to make an immediate acquisition to fill his role in the second unit. While starting center Nikola Vučević was briefly injured, the Bulls did not turn to rookie center Adama Sanogo, who mainly plays for the G League’s Windy City Bulls. Instead, they resorted to an extreme form of small ball during that period, which ultimately proved unsustainable against many opponents.

LOS ANGELES— The NBA trade deadline is two weeks away. The countdown hangs over every practice, game, and media availability for the Chicago Bulls— a constant, unyielding reminder of the front office’s previous inaction and the increasing pressure to make a positive change before Feb. 8. However, for players like DeMar DeRozan, front-office moves— or lack thereof— can't…
