The Biden campaign is getting help from former President Obama, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts for a major fundraising event in Los Angeles next month, according to a campaign official.
Clooney and Roberts will take part in a competition as part of the fundraising event, which will be conducted on social media, digital ads, emails, and texts.
The goal of the contest, according to a Biden campaign official, is “to involve the campaign’s grassroots donors and bring in the entirety of our support network.”
Clooney and Roberts will also be featured in social media posts and digital ads and will sign emails and text messages to Biden supporters, the official added.
As reported by NBC News, Biden has continued to surpass former President Trump’s campaign in fundraising efforts.

Biden raised $10 million during a fundraising tour of San Francisco and Seattle at the end of last week, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The trip was announced in conjunction with a $14 million May ad buy focused on reaching Black, Latino and Asian Americans. The campaign plans to have more than 500 staff and 200 offices open by the end of May.
