SOUDERTON — The Souderton Borough Council on Monday evening gave the green light to a request for a new daycare center at the Towne Gate Commons shopping center, with certain conditions.
The daycare, managed by Goddard School, will have a building covering 11,000 square feet located at the western part of the shopping center. It will have 57 parking spaces and two enclosed play areas. The facility will have a capacity for 122 children and 24 teaching staff.
The daycare's operating hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Drop-offs are permitted from 7 to 9:30 a.m., and pick-ups from 3 to 6 p.m. The center will offer various schedules, including part-time, full-time, and half-day, to accommodate families' requirements.
